What is the Polymesse?
The Polymesse is a 3-day career fair at ETH Zurich, where over 140 national and international companies, as well as various startups, can connect with interested students and doctoral candidates from all disciplines. The focus of the fair is to offer direct connections between the students and the attending companies.
Most companies participate only one day, but it is also possible to attend the fair on two consecutive days.
Polymesse is organized annually in the spring semester by Forum&Contact, a committee of VSETH (Student Union of ETH). The organizing team consists of 6-8 students who voluntarily organize the Polymesse alongside their studies, supported by a part-time employee of VSETH.
What is the goal of Polymesse?
Polymesse aims to connect you with students and doctoral candidates. Your presence at the fair should therefore be informative and recruiting-oriented. You can showcase all the opportunities your company offers for potential employees, including internships, Bachelor’s and Master’s theses and direct entry positions.
We encourage to bring colleagues from technical positions along with HR representatives, as this is often highly requested by ETH students.
Where and when does Polymesse take place?
Polymesse will be held in the main building and on Polyterrasse of ETH Zurich as in the previous years. The fair begins on Tuesday, April 13 and ends on Thursday, April 15, 2027. Visitor hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The address is:
ETH Zurich
Main Building and Polyterrasse
Rämistrasse 101 / Leonhardstrasse 34
CH-8092 Zurich
What is the concept of the Polymesse?
Polymesse is a classic job fair held directly on the ETH Zurich campus. The booths are located in the main hall and on the Polyterrasse.
Companies from various industries participate on all three days, and there are no specific industry days. However in previous years, consulting firms primarily attended on the last day.
Students do not need to register for Polymesse; they can visit the fair before or after lectures or during lunch time.
Throughout the day, various Polylectures (duration 45 minutes) will take place in ETH lecture and seminar rooms, hosted by participating companies. Companies can choose the lecture topic freely. Since students do not need to register in advance for the Polylectures, attendance can vary greatly and cannot be estimated in advance. A Polylecture can only be held if you are also participating at Polymesse 2027.
Due to organizational and logistical reasons, we can only offer a limited number of Polylectures. We reserve the right to select based on the number of submissions received.
